Mocha Rum Gheelight
This cozy beverage comes to us courtesy of Teddy Cosco and the talented outdoor culinary team at @castandiron.
Mise en Place:
- Coffee & Vanilla Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Milk - 1 cup, preferably organic
- Cocoa Powder - 2 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar- 2 teaspoons
- Dark Chocolate
- Spiced Rum
- Marshmallows
Method:
- In a large saucepan, warm 1 cup of milk over medium heat. Avoid boiling to maintain a smooth texture.
- Gradually whisk in 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, dissolving it completely into the mixture.
- Finely grate a portion of dark chocolate directly into the saucepan, stirring continuously.
- Whisk in 2 tablespoons of Coffee & Vanilla Ghee until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in spiced rum to your liking, then remove the mixture from the heat.
Pour the mixture into a mug and top with marshmallows as an optional garnish.
